Holistic
medicine is an approach to health care that is based on the concept
that health is a result of harmony between the mind, body, and
spirit. In essence, this means that treatment is intended for the
whole person rather than a portion thereof.
At
HolisticFX, our philosophy is to treat each person as a unique
individual rather than as an example of a particular disorder. With
this in mind, our treatments are dynamic and evolve based on each
patient's needs. We do not consider ourselves as an alternative to
conventional treatment but rather as a complimentary health care provider.
Meet
the Therapist
My
name is Mark MacNeil and I am a Certified Reflexologist, Reiki
Practitioner, and Cranial Sacral Therapist. I have studied a number
of natural therapies and have benefited greatly from each.
When it comes to health care, the "one size fits all"
approach has never sat well with me. I am convinced that the greatest
successes can be achieved when individuals are treated as such.
I
believe we are all ultimately responsible for our own health. By
fostering a partnership with my clients, I am able to ensure that we
are both comfortable with the therapies used and the course of treatment.
Natural
healing is a daily occurrence and everybody (every body) has this
ability. Our bodies were designed to heal themselves but most of us
have forgotten how to listen, or respond to, the signals we receive.
My role is that of facilitator. By working with you in a partnership,
I act as a catalyst to help you balance you body and heal yourself.
